Since the 1970s, OEC C-Arm systems have set the standard in the industry, and the GE OEC 9800 is no exception.

Building on the success of the popular GE OEC 9600, the GE OEC 9800 C-Arm system brings several key improvements. It offers higher resolution with a 1,000 x 1,000 pixel display, compared to the 9600’s 512 x 512 resolution. The 9800 also features touch-screen controls for easier operation, along with additional configuration options for specialized medical fields, including PMCare, Neuro-Vascular, and Cardiac packages. The system also offers motorized movement through the MD Models, which provide greater flexibility and precision. Storage capacity has been expanded with increased image storage on disk, as well as built-in DICOM compatibility for seamless integration with medical information systems. The GE OEC 9800 was manufactured from 2000 to 2005, with the 9800 Plus models produced from 2003 to 2005, featuring further enhancements.
