The Philips HD9 is a budget-friendly OB-GYN ultrasound machine offering 3D and 4D imaging capabilities. Designed with ergonomic controls and an efficient workflow, it enhances patient care and streamlines scanning processes. It features advanced technologies like STIC (spatio-temporal image correlation) for fetal heart assessments and TSI (tissue-specific imaging) for exam optimization.

The HD9 is equipped with helpful software and hardware tools to support high patient volumes, including iSCAN image optimization, quick keys, high Q automatic Doppler analysis, menu optimization, and quad view.

Although the Philips HD9 is no longer in production and closely resembles the Medison SonoAce X8, it was succeeded by the Philips ClearVue 650.
