The Samsung Medison SonoAce X8 is a mid-range cart-based ultrasound machine, designed primarily for OB/GYN and cardiac applications. Initially manufactured by Medison in 2007, it continued production after Samsung acquired the company in 2010.
The SonoAce X8 includes advanced OB/GYN features such as 4D imaging, enabling sonographers to provide expecting parents with a clear view of their unborn child while diagnosing conditions like cleft lip before birth.
In addition to OB/GYN, the SonoAce X8 supports a range of other modalities, including cardiac, vascular, MSK, abdominal, and anesthesiology. It features three probe ports and a 17-inch HD LCD monitor, offering high-quality imaging with excellent contrast.
